Under SKSF's Mahila Sashaktikaran Yojana, 40 rural women from Tandwa became financially independent.
Forty women from six Self-Help Groups in Tandwa block have started earning ₹6,000–₹9,000 per month after completing the tailoring and embroidery training run by Shanti Kritnischay Seva Foundation.
The Mahila Sashaktikaran Yojana provided 3 months of free training, 40 sewing machines on easy instalments and market linkage with local boutiques.
Sarita Devi, a beneficiary from Tandwa, shared with tears in her eyes: "Pehle main sirf chulha-sulah karti thi, aaj main apne bachchon ki padhai ka kharcha khud uthati hoon. SKSF ne meri zindagi badal di."
